DANIEL GOODEN - 2013
LHP/DH - Georgia Tech/Georgia Highlands College/Emmanuel College
Gooden signed with Georgia Tech out of highschool after playing in the Coastal Stars organiation. After playing a season with the Yellow Jackets, the switch-hitter is also an extremely talented left handed pitcher. He transferred to Georgia Highlands College after his freshman year, where he became one of the team's best hitters and starting pitchers.
Since it's humble beginnings in 2011, the Coastal Stars Showcase Baseball Academy has seen numerous players go on succeed at the college and professional levels. Many of these success stories would not be possible without their time in this incredible program. Listed below are some of these alumni and their achievements.

JUSTIN JONES - 2013
INF - Georgia State University/Los Angeles Angels
Justin played for us in 2013 and is one of the best defensive shortstops that we have had in program history. He played his high school baseball at Houston County High School and would go on to be a Freshman All-American at GA State University where he would also set school records in many categories after being a four year starter. Jones recently signed to play with the Los Angeles Angels and helps coach the Coastal Stars during his off season.

Michael also coached a 16u Star team in the summer '11.
AARON WESTBURY - 2012

Westbury then transferred to Emmanuel College where he spent one year as a reliever and two years as a conference starter.
MACK BROOKS - 2011
P - Andrew College
Mack will be most remembered by his extremely laid back demeanor on the mound. He was often caught singing to himself and giving himself motivational words of wisdom while on the mound. With that said, he is one of the most competitive players we have ever had and his ability to stay completely max effort for 7 innings is remarkable. Mack attended high school at Georgia Military College and would go on to play collegiate ball at Andrew College.
ANDREW MOORE - 2011
C - East GA College & Coker College
Andrew played for us in 2011 and started a long line of excellent defensive catchers that our program has seen. Andrew's ability to receive, block, and throw runners out was special and can match up to anyone, but his ability to get the most out of the guy on the mound was second to none. Andrew signed to play for Darton College out of high school, but transferred to East Georgia after one semester. After his junior college ball, Andrew transferred to NCAA DII program Coker College.
TRENT JONES - 2012
INF - Emmanuel College/United Shores Professional Baseball League
Jones played with the organization back in 2011 & 2012. Jones went on to sign with Emmanuel College where he would prove to be a great asset to the team. The infielder posted a career average of .352 while setting numerous records at the school. Jones also went on to sign and play with the Utica Unicorns of the United Shores Professional Baseball League.
Cole Pitts - 2011

Cole is arguably the most talented arm that we ever had in the history of our program. He has a 6' 6 frame and was up to 93 while playing with us.
